I AM FINALLY FULFILLING ONE OF MY DREAMS!

I have been wanting to be a writer since I was young, I used to fill notebooks with my ramblings, prose, essays and crazy comics. But since I have a family I don't have much time for writing and have put it on the back burner for many years. I always wanted to take my talent a little further just to see how far I could go with it, well a few weeks ago I ordered a creative writing course that I will be doing through correspondence.I am both psyched and intimidated cause I want to do my best and sometimes if I am not doing as well as I think I should be doing then I start to shut down and just give up. I don't want to do that with this so my plan is to build a strong support system that will keep me motivated and to reward myself when I do well on an assignment.

I know I can be successful if I put my mind to something and really buckle down and get it done. My dream is to write an Islamic novel and to get it on the New York Times bestsellers list. But I don't want to write just any novel, I wan to write one in which the true beauty of Islam shines through and touches peoples hearts. I have read many novels with Islam as the theme and felt that this beautiful religion time and time again has been misrepresented.

So I hope to change this and do justice to this pure and inspiring religion which has the power to change hearts and minds in such a way that humanity as a whole is better off because of it.

I will keep you folx informed of how I am progressing in the pursuit of my dreams and goals and when I reach that finish line I hope y'all are there to cheer me on!

Ana Mejia & Rodolfo Santana Win $4.5 Million in Wrongful Death Suit | TheBlaze.com

Ana Mejia & Rodolfo Santana Win $4.5 Million in Wrongful Death Suit | TheBlaze.com:

'via Blog this'

I read this story and my  mouth hit the floor I was so shocked to read that this couple had the audacity to pursue this case in court and actually WIN!!!???...What is this world coming to???
There are a few things I have to say about these despicable people but it would probably burn your ears. I wonder if the deformities that this child suffered are the results of a botched abortion, I bet the woman thought she  got rid of her oops moment and was devastated to find out that she was still with child. We live in a society were people no longer have to take responsibility for their actions and this case is a prime example. I have lost even more faith in the American justice system, the fact that this woman was given millions of dollars because she did not have the opportunity to flush her baby down the toilet is very sad. She probably knew the odds of her winning if she sued the abortion doctor were slim so she moved onto the next poor victims, the x-ray tech and the ob/gyn. But this is all just my opinion, I don't have any proof that she tried to have an abortion but it does make you wonder how the child was born missing three limbs. You see this in cases where an abortion was botched, it happens when the saline solution used to dissolve the fetus fails to do its deadly job and as a result the fetus survives but is usually born with sever deformities.

I wonder how her son is gonna react to the fact that his mother did not want him and was given money because she was not able to get rid of him. She makes me  sick cause she is the one who willing participated in the creation of this beautiful child but since he obviously was a hinderence to her life she wanted to be rid of this reminder of her mistake. I pray that she wises up and learns to appreciate this gift God has given her a gives her child the love he deserves, but that maybe wishful thinking on my part. Judging from this court case I think she will treat this child with contempt and disdain for the rest of its life, this little boy more than likely will spend his days wasting away in an institution while the parents joyfully spend the millions that they claimed they needed for his care.

INTRODUCTION

I am the kind of of person who always has an opinion on something, everything is of interest to me so I am always coming up bits of info that leave my friends looking at me in wonder. "How do you know all this stuff" they constantly ask. This especially happens when we are playing some sort of Trivia game and some kind of way I always know the answer (well most of the time). My best freind has been telling me for a long time that I should write a blog since i always am talking about all sorts of subjects and I have my own philosophy about life.I have finnaly taken her advice and here I am spreading my knowledge with the rest of the world!
I am an avid news watcher I have been this way since I was a young child (Yeah I can remember being 5 watching the Oliver North trials) I guess you can say I was a strange child at least that what the kids in my class thought. I was always told I was irky and annoying I just didn't fit in so I turned to books as a comfort and since they took me to far away  and exotic places they also became my friends.

So as an adult books still are a comfort to me especially when I am stressed out and it feels like life is dragging me by my hair down a rocky hill. I love to curl up in the bed on cloudy days and just lose myself in a good mystery novel or someones good autobiography. I also love to write, but since having kids and  taking care of a house and husband I hardly have the time to write anymore. But I am hoping that this will change by making myself write n entry for this blog once a week. My dream is to one day write a novel which will be on the bestsellers list for weeks, I have already started on it but when I think about all that goes into writing one it seems to be a daunting task. I may post a few entries from my novel and ask what you the reader thinks, I did post a small part on my FB page http://www.facebook.com/bilqisfaruq?sk=notesand the feedback was positive. Look forward to hearing your comments on my posts...
